Yea, who me! Shoe Shopping!
But yes...I was shoe shopping today. Actually, Marcia (another bud here in Florida) was kind enough to go with me to look for shoes. I need a dressy pair for a big celebration my sister is having this weekend and to wear to our grand daughters wedding in June!
And no these aren't the shoes I bought! I need black shoes! And I think I found them but I have to head back out tomorrow to go to the first store and purchase a pair I really liked! Go figure!
We also had a great lunch at Crazy Cucumber to recoup from shoe shopping...Vegan burger and the best sweet potato fries ever!
I am still stitching away at night on my 12" block exchange. I have one and half blocks left to hand stitch then to add binding. Not sure I'm going to make it to mail out Monday. I'll most likely be a week late and this is the FIRST time I have not met a target date! Don't like the way it feels. Plus, I'm upset with myself for not checking to confirm when the target date was! Oh well...first time for everything.
Off to my sister's on Sunday to meet up with nieces and nephew and I'm really excited. MaryAnn and Nancy are having a huge party which will be fun! I'm looking forward to it and Bob gets to be dog sitter for both dogs! Hopefully they will all survive!
Maybe I should look at these again! After all, I need black....hmmmmmmm
Save a trip. The past office is closed on Monday. Presidents day. I hate buying shoes any more.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, I love shoes. When I was young I wore the wildest shoes with The Highest Heels. One time one of the guys that worked in the machine shop where I worked in the office commented on how cool my shoes were and I had a pair to match every outfit. You never know who is noticing you. Get the Black ones!!

I am late to your post but these shoes are KILLER! Literally! Safe Travels Dear and enjoy your celebrations. Bob and the Furbies will be fine.
ReplyDeleteI too LOVE shoes but my days of uber chic shoes are over...now it is function over fashion.
