Inspired by the Masters Exhibit

Jane Dunnewold's latest email newsletter has a really interesting YouTube link for The exhibition, Inspired by the Masters, which opened at the Texas Quilt Museum this month.  It is now available for viewing.

It's a rather long video but so, so interesting!  Jane purchased over 100 crewel, embroidery and hand stitched pieces that she has incorporated into textile works of art! Fascinating!!!  ENJOY!!!

I get Jane’s newsletter too. I just now had a chance to view the video, and what a ride! Having studied under Jane for a couple of years, I can say she is a very intentional and thoughtful artist. I really love this collection of hers. Thank you for sharing it.

This is a wonderful video- thanks for sharing the link. I tried to catch the name of the fusible product she mentioned early on, but missed it twice. Did you happen to hear what it is that she irons on the backs of her pieces? Fascinating to watch her process and see her work.
