Challenge Piece

Today I am (or my quilt is!) meeting up with the other three ladies and their finished quilt.  We were each part of a challenge to complete a quilt square (keeping the edges unfinished).   We were had a corner (approximately 20" x 20" square) of this large piece of hand dyed fabric.  Hated to see this piece cut up!!!

This is my finished square.

I hand stitched the circles/lines, but to not take away from the design/colors of the piece, I elected to machine stitch using monofilament thread and outline the areas around the hand work.

And some detail pictures of my four corners!  HA  For the most part, I used the opposite color thread for the hand stitching.  

I'm anxious to see the other pieces and if we can, in fact, join them together to make a larger quilt!
